A member asked:

Is it possible that (having had an accident involving my left hand in 2005), that i could develop problems with motor skills now in 2021? i am noticing, recently, intermittent fumbling and dropping without warning (left hand)?

The accident 15 years ago is not a likely explanation. It would be imperative to consult a neurologist as what you described suggests a neurological issue. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. Wish you good health!

Agree with Dr Singh. This is certainly a new problem, unrelated to archaic trauma. This could be due to peripheral nerve disease, but also could be due to central nervous system issues, such as a stroke. This does need neurological consultation and a thorough evaluation ASAP.
