Without ejaculation inside the vagina, there is no risk of pregnancy. There are stories of pregnancy after ejacuation near the vagina but not inside. Even this is very rare. However, it sounds like you're playing with fire: next time, you may give in to temptation and have actual intercourse without intending it. Get on proper contraception (pill, insert, etc) and also use condoms to prevent STI.

Pregnancy is not possible in above circumstances. Contraception remains otherwise key in avoiding undesired pregnancy and associated anxiety when intercourse is likely to occur.
