Hi there, my son just experienced a popping sensation in his head followed by a very painful headache that required him to be taken to our local urgent care. they didnt run any tests but said he was fine. the headache is continuing to get worse?

Popping could be from opening and closing of the eustacian tubes in the ears analogous to what airplane travel does when the pressure changes in these tubes. It can be associated with a headache as well.
