Many kidney stones which pass into the bladder arise from stones breaking off from a larger stone in the renal pelvis. An infection in the kidney may also not be sensitive (treatable effectively) to the antibiotic you are taking, so see the urologist for an exam and perhaps other testing, and/or urine culture and sensitivity.
