Should be seen: Any mole that makes the owner suspicious deserves to be seen by a physician who's good at skin. This is jmore likely an actinic keratosis, which itself ought to be at least followed.

Texture : It is difficult to make a diagnosis without visualizing it. A change in texture could indicate a cancerous change or not . Have a dermatologist evaluate to be safe.
