Studies indicate that face masks may not always offer complete protection to a susceptible person from a viral infection in a close face-to-face or frontal human interaction between 2 people. Therefore, there must be consideration to minimizing or avoiding such interactions. However, overall people wearing face masks are better protected from viral spread from Covid-19 & other infectious agents.
