Diagnosed w/ mild keratitis in left eye. symptoms began 5 months ago. symptoms occur mostly overnight & upon waking. 1-week antibiotic & steroid drops helped somewhat, but symptoms reverted soon after stopping the drugs. what are treatment options?

If this is truly an inflammation of the cornea (keratitis) then it potentially can be serious depending upon what the underlying cause of the inflammation is. This should be further evaluated by an ophthalmologist.
