NASAL CANNULA DOES NOT GO THRU ANY CANNISTERS. ITS APPLIED DIRECTLY AND ITS NOT HUMIDIFIED HENCE THE DRYNESS AND BURNING FEELING. THIS IS WORSE WITH INCREASED LITERS

A nasal cannula may cause symptoms from irritation of the mucosa. Carbon monoxide has no role in any treatment and I question your seeing carbon monoxide canister in the operating area.
