What are the reasions of skin darkening? is it the sign of any disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A few to know: Generalized darkening of the skin is a classic warning of addison's disease and of hemochromatosis; the mechanisms are different but they're both worth knowing. If you're losing weight or feeling really ill without an obvious explanation, make an appontment; otherwise mention it to your physician when you next visit. Many folks have some darkening of the skin as adulthood approaches.
