Depending on the length of the EGD procedure, and manipulation of the endoscope necessary for potential biopsies performed, the throat can be irritated and inflamed with resultant excess mucus production, but this should resolve in a few more days. If symptoms persist, see the GI physician who performed the EGD for an exam and guidance.

My first thought would be not related, but if no other symptoms occur, it may be post nasal drip, or viral.. Assuming your swallowing is ok and no fever, pain or other symptoms ,would just follow and wait awhile.. My guess would be you will be ok.
