Agree with Dr Ferguson and Dr Seifert.Similar medications that treat ADD are used for ADHD and that depends on age, exact symptoms, and how it is affecting the person’s life and ability to handle their work and school. One should be evaluated by a professional to assess and decide on treatment. Teaching organizational skills are also often part of the process, as well as limiting distractions.
