I recently discovered that i have hyperthyroidism. could that be the cause if my permanent brain fog that i have been experiencing for most of my life?

Did you have characteristic symptoms of hyperthyroidism recently when the condition was diagnosed? Tremors, weight loss, heat intolerance, rapid heart rate, irritability,or other emotional changes to name some? I would have expected you to have at least some of these symptoms along with your brain fog through the years if your thyroid was overactive then.
