A member asked:

When the lymph nodes swell due to aids in the initial symptoms do they disappear on their own same?

Yes. The lymph node swelling generally disappears within a few weeks or months. However, the infection does not “disappear”. The virus remains in you body forever and slowly (months to years) damages your disease-fighting cells (T cells), making you susceptible to many infections

Agree with Dr. Lentnek. If you have any concern about having HIV get tested. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
