This is only a concern if you are pregnant. In Pregnancy, the vasculature of the vagina and uterus can become engorged and lead to air passing into the blood vessels. It is still very rare. IF you are not pregnant, this is not a concern.

A significant air embolism would result in overt and obvious problems. These events are rather rare, and most often associated with significant trauma. If you feel fine, you have not experienced an air embolism.
