No, it would not prolong the stomach virus. As long as your doctor recommended taking it, I would do so. It doesn’t stop you from contracting the virus, but should lessen or prevent you from vomiting, which will help you not to become dehydrated. This is always important but especially so when you are pregnant. Try to time your fluid intake around when the Zofran is most effective to aid in this.
