Climen is not used as a contraceptive agent. This medication has been used outside America for climateric syndrome in perimenopausal/postmenopausal patients and prevent osteoporosis outside the USA. Blood clot, increased risk of breast malignancy and ischemic heart disease are the most important adverse effects.
