Unsure: I am not sure what your question is. However, about 1 in 3 women have group b strep in the vagina and it is not generally a problem during the pregnancy. At delivery the baby is exposed and could develop a serious infection. Cultures are usually done between 35 and 37 weeks, if positive for gbs then antibiotics are given during labor to protect the baby.
