A member asked:

What does this mean? atypical squamous cells, cannot exclude high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (asc-h) atrophic pattern; predominantly parabasal cells?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I presume the diagnosis refers either to the cervix, a vaginal lesion or the skin. The term, "atypical squamous cells" suggests a dysplastic, or pre-malignant lesion. At your age, I would consider removal of the lesion--the individual taking the biopsy should have an explanation and recommendation. If you have doubts, you may wish to get a second opinion.
