Today when i examined the epididymis i could feel something slightly hard running through a length of the cords attached to testicle it did not give pain or discomfort,it is gone now is it normal to feel like this sometimes if going through puberty?

Having a small cyst in the tail of epididimydis will give you this feeling what you describe. If it has gone , just keep an eye on in that area.
