A member asked:

What are spinal hemangiomata? could they be a cause of pain? what is the treatment for them? thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually vertebral hemangiomas are incidental radiological findings of no consequence, and require no specific treatment. Other vascular malformations such as arteriovenous malformations are a different issue. It might help to discuss what was uncovered with your doctor to reassure you, and if you have pain, to discern the pain generator.
