what is the view on a glass of wine after chemo?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Chad Levitt
22 years experience Radiation Oncology
Depends in ctx and u: If your liver and kidney function are ok then a glass of wine after chemotherapy should usually be ok. However there are many different chemotherapy agents and some could have an interaction that is negative. Thus, be sure to ask your medical oncologist if it is ok.
