Odds of pp hemorrhaging during 4th c section if it happened during 3rd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Post-partum hemorrhage from a C/S is usually caused by uterine lack of contraction secondary to retained placental tissue (as with a succinturiate lobe of the placenta, or membranes not removed at the time of C/S) . If your current OB physician is aware of the past occurrence, he/she will be careful to explore the uterus prior to closure of the incision.
