Thank you and also even though i was presented with tension headache and scalp tenderness they turned me down for a scan.. should i insist on getting one as both doctors said i dont meet criteria.. thank you again?

Not all headaches require brain imaging (CT scan or MRI) for evaluation. If your Drs did a thorough history & physical exam with a very careful neurological exam (& possibly sent you for a good eye exam too) & found nothing worrisome, then it is perfectly reasonable in a young otherwise healthy patient to proceed with treatment options & no scan unless symptoms persist/worsen

Do not understand why you feel you need a radiological procedure. 98% of all MRI's done to evaluate headaches reveal normal outcomes. If you have no confidence with your doctors, obtain an extra opinion.
