Fertility specialist found scar tissue so i had a procedure to remove it. he also checked tubes. no blockage. then went back to check ovulation. which was confirmed. now next appt is during my period. what is this ultrasound/test checking for ?

Day 2 -5 evaluation for infertility consist of an ultrasound to measure the number of follicles in the ovary and a blood test to measure the levels of FSH and ESTRADIOL in the beginning of the cycle .
