A fetal heart rate is usually much higher than yours (in the 130-140 range) and a fetus will extract the nutrients it needs from your body whether you ate breakfast or not. In general a fetus takes what it needs from stores in mother’s body if it’s not in her diet, but of course it’s ideal to eat a healthy diet on a regular basis for both of your sakes. Skipping a meal here and there will not harm your baby! Good luck on the exciting time ahead!
