A fetal heart rate is usually much higher than yours (in the 130-140 range) and a fetus will extract the nutrients it needs from your body whether you ate breakfast or not. Short term poor diet practices have little effect on the fetus. You should follow your docs instructions and maintain a good diet. Baby will otherwise strip a lot of nutrients out of your body & make life harder later 4 U

In general a fetus takes what it needs from stores in mother’s body if it’s not in her diet, but of course it’s ideal to eat a healthy diet on a regular basis for both of your sakes. Skipping a meal here and there will not harm your baby! Good luck on the exciting time ahead!
