A member asked:

Should i be concerned with a 20 year plus lump under my armpit backside that was the size of a grape until the last year and half grown to a goofball and a half size. it has never hurt not does it now. it seems alittle fluid w/rectangular muscle feel?

A longstanding lump that grows substantially in size many years later must be eva!uated by a physician or surgeon. Fluid production in a cyst or malignant transformation of a previously benign growth or lymph node are possibilities.

An armpit lump that was stable for years and now growing require a medical Physical Evaluation, not only of the lump but the rest of the body. Appointment with the PCP is where to start.
