Side FX of injection: If a local anesthetic was used, and a lot of it, you may simply be feeling the effects of lidocaine. But, this would not likely cause a headache. Was an epidural also done? If so, you could be having symptoms of a spinal fluid leak. Try some coffee/caffeine, and lie down. If symptoms immediately improve lying down, and recur standing up, you got a spinal fluid headache. Let your doc know.
