The cause of your chronic cough should be evaluated. One possible cause is sinusitis and post nasal drip. Discuss a course of antibiotics and nasal saline with your physician.

You very well might be describing allergic rhinitis. Without fever doesn’t mean no infection, but should be ruled out with nasal swabs, sputum sample and an X-ray. Best wishes and notify your provider sooner than later. Thank you and be well.
