See an eye doctor: New lid droop always needs to be evaluated. Although most of the time it is benign, there may be conditions that have to be addressed. Often, medical or surgical treatment can help, so don't delay seeing an eye doctor.

Ptosis: Ptosis, or eyelid drooping, has multiple possible causes. These include aging, neurological conditions, inflammation, and mechanical causes (from something weighing the lid down or residual effects from a previous infection). It's very important for you to have this evaluated by an ophthalmologist to make sure this isn't a significant condition.
