Hi. stitched at the same day long extensor of 1st finger on hand, zone vi. tendon was fully cut. prescription: 1 month in full immobilization for finger and wrist. q:will the tendon fix itself to surrounding tissues without any movement during 1m?

Fully torn tendons need to be stitched together and full healing takes about 3 months but can take much longer to get full strength back. I trust a hand specialist did your repair and will supervise your postop progress.
