Yes, it certainly does. As long as you are taking PEP drugs, there is little or no point in testing for HIV. The time period to a positive test ("window period") starts when PEP is finished -- not the time of exposure. Discuss with the doctor or clinic where your PEP was prescribed; they will have the best advice for you.
