Pregnant persons require a large amount of water and fluids in order to maintain the increased circulation present in pregnancy. High heat can cause dehydration/electrolyte imbalance through sweat water loss. In hot areas, increase intake of fluids and electrolytes and make sure you take the time to cool down periodically. If not, headaches, fatigue, dizziness and more can occur.
