This is a very incomplete description or conclusion of an EKG interpretation. Precordial refers to the chest leads as opposed to the limb leads. QRS is the portion of the EKG during contraction of the heart muscle. The interpreting MD described its morphology as abnormal without further comment of what it could signify(such as scarred, enlargement of a ventricle, conduction disturbance, etc).

"Abnormal precordial QRS contours" is too vague to give you a precise answer. The pattern of QRS complexes may be variable depending on position of the electrodes, prior damage to the heart muscle, changes in the thickness of the heart muscle, disturbances of conduction etc. It is important to know that this may not always indicate an abnormality. Please have your doctor look at the ECG and advise
