I started taking yasmin for birth control 5 days before my period. now my period is due in 3 days. should i stop taking the pill on the day that my period is supposed to come?

Yes, you should stop taking pills when you are supposed to have your period start, BUT, you should NOT start taking the pill AFTER you are 5 days into your cycle, that’s a bit too late

Yasmin oral contraceptives come in a 28 day pack. This means you take one pill per day. You do not stop taking the pills when you have a period. This menstrual cycle may be off schedule since you started taking birth control pills only 5 days before your period.
