I recently got off of the pill birth control after 2 years. the first day i got my period back i got diarrhea and now 8 days later my period is over and i still have diarrhea, stomach pain what can i do to make it better or is this normal?

Diarrhea may be coincidental to the onset of menses, especially if it persists beyond the menstrual period. Endometriosis can invade the colon, and the inflammation surrounding the invasive endometrial cells can cause diarrhea. I fyour symptoms persist, ask for a referral to a GI specialist. Oral bcp's may be your best alternative to endometriosis, unless pregnancy is desired.
