I recently had a biopsy done last week on a spot near my vagina and anus and it comes back as syphilis reactive but i've never had any type of std or sti . they sent to another lab for further testing was told it would be 2wks for results?

? recent unprotected sex. Syphilis can be diagnosed by microscopic examination of the lesion. Apparently you're awaiting confirmatory serological testing. In view of the microscopic findings, I recommend consulting a specialist in infectious diseases to determine whether treatment should be started before the confirmatory results are available in 2 weeks. Results usually are back in 7-10 days
