Periods should get back to normal after a medical abortion. There are no longer term menstrul cycle effects after termination a pregnancy. Consider taking a pregnancy test to make sure you have not gotten pregnant again. You can schedule a visit with a doctor to discuss birth control options to help with menstrual cycle regulation.
