Therapy: Usually with frozen shoulder, otherwise known as adhesive capsulitis, we initially try physical therapy. If that is not successful then either a manipulation of the shoulder under anesthesia or a arthroscopic lysis of adhesions is usually done. Thank you for the question.

Physical therapy: Be cautious with injections as the steroid can cause an increase in blood sugars. Surgery works well in diabetic patients.
