Is it possible to hear a little less in one ear than the other. ?no other problem except for vertigo issues sometimes in one ear. but when i close one ear, it seems one is hearing a minute less?

This is common. Depends on how much noise each ear has been exposed to or infected in past.

You need to see your doctor and have your ears examined and a hearing test administered. It may be something as a collection of wax , Good Luck
