Gonal F is FSH the hormone necessary to grow the follicles in the ovary and to mature the egg which is inside the follicle, this usually requires 10 to12 days at which point the follicle has reached 18-22mm in size HCG {human chorionic gonadotropin} is given to initial the ovulation ,in other words to release the egg from the ovary , this is the time when you can get pregnant.
