Normal labs likely: Lab numbers without a patient are just that, lab numbers. They mean nothing to a doctor without knowing more about a patient. This is more true when labs numbers fall slightly out of range. Certain labs such as potassium (k) have a very narrow range. For instance, a slightly elevated k level may be nothing (erroneous) or could mean a medical emergency in a patient with end stage renal disease.
