Health determined. The intensity of treatment and the intervals between treatment sessions is determined by your health. Want to reduce treatment intervals and intensity? Brush2x/day for 2 FULL MINUTES BY THE CLICK each time. And even more important, floss or WaterPik DAILY. Failure to both floss and brush will increase the number of professional cleanings required.
