Floss or WaterPik DAILY to reach the 1/3 of each tooth that a toothbrush can't reach. Brush 2x/day w soft t'brush & pea-sized portion of t'paste (fluoridated) for 2 FULL MINUTES BY THE CLOCK. Use a timer, don't just guess. Remember, whatever you don't do your General Dentist or specialist Periodontist will have to do.
