Is i had unprotected sex march 5 and conceived from that, would the pregnancy have shown on the ultrasound taken last week (may 18). is it possible to miss a pregnancy in a transvaginal ultrasound?

Not possible to miss that pregnancy if you are pregnant. Double check with a pregnancy test in urine ( the cheap ones from the pharmacy) . If negative and still in doubt, a Beta HCG in blood ( pregnancy test in blood) will definitely tell you that you’re not pregnant.
