Unless you find a compounding pharmacy to get the same concentration or get it from a remote international pharmacy it is not manufactured in products sold in US at that concentration. It is sold at 3%, aside from 1%, much more expensive and approved for use for skin conditions. Applying more would not change its concentration if using 1%.
