I have voltaren gel from europe which is 2.23%. the us version is only 1%. can you get prescription 2.23% in the us? if not, can i apply twice as much to get a near equivalent to the european version?

Unless you find a compounding pharmacy to get the same concentration or get it from a remote international pharmacy it is not manufactured in products sold in US at that concentration. It is sold at 3%, aside from 1%, much more expensive and approved for use for skin conditions. Applying more would not change its concentration if using 1%.
