If you are seeing a dark spot in the eye, you need a dilated eye examination. The dark spot might be just a floater, but a posterior vitreous detachment is possible. A retinal detachment or other retinal pathology must be excluded to preserve your eyesight. Screen time is not a short-term problem unless what you are seeing is really an afterimage from bleaching of the retina.
