Take your antibiotics in the way your Doctor is recommending. The entire upper respiratory tract is connected and lined with cells that produce mucus. If you have sinusitis, you probably have mucus accumulation in the paranasal sinuses, allowing bacteriae and inflammation to continue.

Almost always a virus infection which will not be helped by antibiotics but your Dr has talked to and examined you and knows you better than I do. Listen to YOUR DR.
