Corona positive, now negative age 54. i was given meldrol steroids & put on oxygen for 4 hours at home. i wasnt hospitalized. what are the chances of black fungus? thank you. p.s im pre diabetic?

“Black fungus” only in horror movies. Fungi come in all colors - white,black, brown, tan, red (my favorite), green, yellow. Likelihood of serious infection only if you’ve had a recent organ transplant

Monitor your temperature, watch for shortness of breath. If you feel well now, you are likely to resolve. Eat a healthy diet,avoid excessive sugar and follow your HbA1C. Please see your PCP.
