Your testis form from tissue next to the kidneys. They migrate down as the fetus grows until they pass into the groin and transit to the scrotal sac by the 28th week in most. This pathway constricts down in most, but surrounds the testicular blood supply that comes from near the kidneys. It is a weakness that women do not have since ovaries don't make that trip.
