I have had an upper respiratory infection for two weeks. both ears have some pain and pressure still, but it is worse in my left ear. the pain goes down my neck on that side and on the left side of my face. do i need antibiotics to help?

Please see a doctor for your persistent pain which is radiating downwards. This may be a viral rather than bacterial infection; if so, antibiotics are not appropriate or helpful. A good exam is needed.

Your history suggests that you should see your PCP as soon as possible. I would leave the antibiotics for your PCP to decide.
